When asked, Enoch's guitarist Danilo describes his band's style
as - and i quote - " Influenced by different styles. For example, I
played in the past covers of Dream Theater, Angra, Pantera,
Metallica, Megadeth, Helloween, Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borginr
and many more bands. A a matter of fact, very different bands
with different styles, sometimes really quite the opposite each
other :) "
He continues to explain: "When we write new songs, we not
really think about a style or a band....we look for a music that
likes us :)
We are lookin often for bridges and refrain, in this way, ones can
recognize the song; also looking for dark melodies and killer riffs
with good solos. I like much more the shred, Giuseppe likes the
melodies solos (like you can ear in the cd).
We used to say that we play symphonic black metal but, we
realized after a lot of reviews (90% really positive) that we should
stop to say that, because we not play only play symphonic black
metal, but also death, goth and more.... But, after all, the
important thing, in my opinion, is that the songs do not seem
"stuck", but are homogeneous.
Our ex-keyboarder said one time "hey guys, what kind of metal
do we play?....maybe it's Enoch Metal!" :)
It's hard to be posted in a canonic kind of metal but, in my
opinion, it's good too: it means that we can say we are original :)
